Good Stuff Stamp Set
Good Stuff Die

What Annette Says:
I first choose a piece of designer paper that I thought was perfect for the photo inspiration and die cut using Flower Circles Die. I cut this same shape out again using white textured card-stock. I then adhered the shape to my card base inlaying it directly to the card. I then stamped this sweet image from the Willy & Friends Stamp Set, colored, die cut and adhere to card using foam adhesives along with the sentiment and pretty bow from Good Stuff Stamp Set.

With Love Word Die

What Shelly Says:
I started by stamping each of my flowers and coloring them in with markers. After, I used the matching dies and ran them through my machine. Once done, I set them aside for the time being. I then started to make my ‘scene’ so to speak, using my flowers on a piece of white cardstock. One at a time, I placed a die where I wanted my flower to be and ran it through my machine. After, I placed my COLORED die cut piece (again, one at a time) on my white cardstock where I previously had my flower and used my die in the negative spot next to my colored flower. So it would trim my colored flower to fit perfectly with the others. Giving me my ‘inlaid die cutting’ technique. To finish things off, I used the ‘with love’ word die to place over the top of my flowers.

What Laura Jane Says:
I masked off the heart shape from Flutter Stamp Set and stamped several flower layers from the DT Mix Stamp Set in colors suggested in the inspiration photo. I then used the With Love Word Die to cut out and inlay the sentiment in GOLD paper.

What Laura Says:
I was inspired by the fabulous tones of pink in the February palette and combined a couple of the stamps from the Flower Circle Stamp Set with the matching Flower Circle Die to make this retro style card. The inlay technique is probably one of my favorites and I used it to insert the pieces of the large flower into the background, as well as the pretty sentiment (With Love Word Die). Thanks for letting me play with you this month, it was a lot of fun!
